  1. Enable the search function in echelon for guests because atm only high admins with full access have it enabled.
  2. Make a new rule to clarify that server staff or community members impersonation is prohibited.
  3. I noticed that in many places the `Nova Veterans` community name is written as `NoVa Veterans`. As the capital letter implies a word and as there is no word implied for `Va` in `NoVa`, it's wrong and without a real reason to use it like that. Also, the `V` in `-nVts` should be emphasized because of `Veterans` and not because of `Va`. Therefore I suggest we use it as `NovaVeterans`
  4. Remove the `Reviews` feature from downloads. There is no point or functionality to have reviews on downloads since there is a `Comments` section under each download already.
  5. Hello and welcome to the forums. This is your demo about your ban. Please wait until a Head admin approves or disapproves your ban appeal.
  6. EZ doable with a webhook or Zapier
  7. This is a suggestion about auto-feeding new suggestions to cards in a Suggestions Trello list. I was thinking that since we use Trello we could have an automated list that you could pull a suggestion post from the forums and make it a card in a Suggestions list. When someone makes a suggestion on the forums, instead of reading the suggestion copying the suggestion to a card assign a label, add more details, add importance and drag it to our to-do list We could Someone makes a suggestion post on the forums Zapier triggers and creates a card with the suggestion content in a dedicated list of cards for forum suggestions named Suggestions We read them on the spot, we can assign a label, add more details, add importance and just drag whatever suggestion we want to our to-do list Notice that the first two procedures got fully automated with extremely lower window for errors. Also, comments on the forums can be added automatically. The suggestion is complete and straight from the author as it was written, plus you can add extra details/comments/media if you want. There is already a Zapier integration between Invision Community and Trello and works like this I think we already use Zapier for other reasons so I don't think it'll be a problem. Here's the Zapier Trello integration. Let me know what you think.
  8. Welcome to the forums and the game. Enjoy
  9. Hello and welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear that you've been wrongfully banned, that is a known issue and our tech wizards are working on fixing it. Until then, a high admin will look at your case and report accordingly. Sorry for any inconvenience.

  12. Hey The EngiNerd thanks for coming, again, to the forums. Sad to hear that it happened again to you with no reason, it seems that something related to you triggers our recruit/advertising alarms. Did you notice what you said when this happened? I will let a head admin know and unban you when they can, they will reply here when done.
  13. At the moment our Discord server is named NoVaVeterans Discord Why is there a capital V in Nova? Stay tuned as we make another suggestion with G4b1tz xD Adding `Discord` in the name of a Discord server is redundant. Let me explain why: > POINT A We don't name people as John Doe Human, or Coca Cola as Coca Cola soft drink. It's John Doe and it's Coca Cola. Being in a directory of many servers identified as servers we want to name ourselves (meaning the community) as the name of the community, NovaVeterans, and not as the medium itself, Discord. Of course it's a server, Discord is made of servers and servers is where communities live in. You might say: And I agree 100%, transparency is our friend. But! 1) Sharing the Discord's native invite link with someone on Discord, which has the form of ```https://discord.gg/xxxxxxx`, the recipient of the Discord invite seeing the link understands instantly that it's a Discord invite to a server on Discord -discord.gg is used exclusively for discord invites- and gets a preview of the server they are invited to, so they know the name of the server, the graphic banner of the server, the total people that are on that server, how many are online at that time and a button for the user to Join if they wish to. 2) Sharing the Discord's native invite link with someone outside Discord, which has the form of ```https://discord.gg/xxxxxxx`, the recipient of the Discord invite seeing the link understands instantly that it's a Discord invite to a server on Discord -discord.gg is used exclusively for discord invites- and gets no other info about it, no title, no server name, no member count, because it doesn't embed properly like on Discord. It's just a plain hyperlink. For example this is the official Town Hall server of Discord. Notice that even in the forums it doesn't embed properly like let's say a YouTube video and it just stays as a plain hyperlink: https://discord.gg/discord-townhall > POINT B Again you might say: Well, once again, as in point A.2.2 For example this is the https://nvts.online/discord Discord invite. Notice that, again, even in the forums it doesn't embed properly like let's say a YouTube video, and it just stays as a plain hyperlink: https://nvts.online/discord > POINT C Being on Discord, right clicking a friend and selecting `Invite to server` brings up all the servers you are a member of, so you can select the server you want your friend to be invited to. Having the word Server in the name of the server is again unnecessary. > CONCLUSION A & B & C) There is no point in having the word Discord in the name of our Discord server. > SUGGESTION What is our name? NovaVeterans What are we? A, multi-gaming, Community What is our home on the internet? novaveterans.org Taking in account all of the the above and looking at other gaming communities on Discord I suggest to rename our Discord server from NovaVeterans Discord to NovaVeterans Gaming Community (We identify as a gaming community and not as a clan in the about section located in the footer of our forums) -nVts- NovaVeterans Gaming Community (Using our unique identifier/acronym to boost our recognition) -nVts- NovaVeterans.org (Using our unique identifier/acronym along with our forum URL) -nVts- NovaVeterans Clan (Using the word clan in case Directors want to use that)
  14. This is your MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015) - Technical Specifications. Here's all the info I could gather from the internet without knowing your actual problem and guessing that you are trying to jump upgrade eg. from Yosemite to Monterey. Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on El Capitan, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, and finally Monterey. They're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list. If the App Store says Open then it's detecting a previous download of the installation app. Go to the Applications folder and locate Install macOS xxxxxx.app. Move it to the Trash, empty the Trash. Restart. Click on the link again. The App Store should now say Get or Download. If you are considering upgrading to Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey be warned they do not support 32bit apps. Your Macbook Air is probably running 32bit apps and these will need to be updated to 64bit apps, some updates may be free, some may be paid.
  15. Haha, I love you too man but I am not the admin assigned to this so I can't help you, sorry. Be patient.
